「愛しくても苦しい」というような相反する感情をもつことを心理学用語で「アンビバレンス」と表現しますが、その言葉をジュエリーの形容詞にすることで、クラシカルであるけれども無国籍の風を纏い、なおかつ産まれたての朝の空気のように新しい、あるいは一見、脆く見えても強風に耐えるしなやかな茎をもつ大輪の花の美しさというような、混在する魅力を表現しています。そしてそれはジェンダーや年齢・国境や言語を軽々と飛び越えることでしょう。力を持った美しさというのは、誰もを魅了する普遍性でもあるのです。
